El hotel está situado a más o menos una hora y media del aeropuerto del Cuzco, desde la carretera no se puede observar rastros del mismo. El desvío al hotel es un camino de trocha. Al llegar uno se lleva una sorpresa muy agradable. La gente es amable, las instalaciones muy cómodas, todo muy limpio y de primera. Dentro del hotel se ofrecen muchas actividades a pesar que no es un resort, tiene una galería, un orquideario, cine y actividades culinarias para chicos y grandes. Además de un spa muy grande que ofrece toda clase de tratamientos, además de salas de meditación, clases de yoga, etc. El paisaje es idílico, muchas de las habitaciones tienen una vista maravillosa. También cuenta con wifi en todo el hotel. Altamente recomendable.

empezare diciendo, ke la gente ke alli trabaja, son muy atentos, uno y cada uno de ellos, super amables!!!.. las instalaciones son muy comodas, nada ke envidiara ningun hotel!!! mi carpa staba frente al mar, por lo ke la experiencia fue de un gran nivel... agradezco a todo el personal ke alli labora, por tanta amabilidad y por tan buen atencion, la comida espectacular (recomiendo el lomo saltado vichayio y el chilcano de maracuya!!).... y definitivamente k regresare!!!!... hasta una proxima!!!.... Vichayito Bungalows & Carpas realmente es un verdadero paraiso tiene de todo es la atencion es A1 por ejemplo yo estaba en las orillas del mar junto con mi linda esposita y se me antojo una causa y un rissoto de langostino y hice el pedido y enseguida los mozos me trajeron una mesita blanca y mi pedido no hay nada mejor qeu disfrutar una causa y un rissoto de langostinos en las orillas del mar comodamente en una silla dormilona yo me aloje en una carpa suith matrimonial creo qeu fue la Carpas Beduinas Suites nº S3 con vista al mar con sala y una bañera tina en el baño realmente excelente los 4 dias y tres noches que me hospede ahora estraño Vichayito y se qeu pronto volvere junto con mi esposa gracias vichayito de verdad a todos les digo en todo el peru es el mejor risort 5 estreyas dentro de una carpa y las mejores playas se los recomiendo

“Beautiful resort was just what we wanted”

I selected this resort (as I did most of my 2 weeks in Peru), based off Trip Advisor reviews. I was skeptical of the service but the wow-factors of the carpas (tents) was enough to convince me.

We were there at the end of May ("winter" in the north, aka 87 degrees). The place was very sparsely populated and we received EXCELLENT service. Things did not appear at the drop of a hat, but you have to consider it is a remote beach paradise. People are relaxed. Nonetheless, I found all the staff very helpful even when we had slight language barrier issues. All of our food came out timely, as ordered, along with our drinks. They helped me set up a jet ski rental where all I had to do was show up. I could see how things might be messy in full-season, but if you are visiting in the low season, good service will not be an issue.

On to the more important issues: The place is pretty much perfect for rest and relaxation. We had the Carpa Suite that had the best bed we slept on for our entire trip. The tents were just fantastic. The beach was awesome and the swimming/waves, even in the winter, were top notch. Oh and there was a computer to use the internet, so whoever said that below must have gotten unlucky or not asked.

To me, you are either going to Mancora for two reasons: to enjoy the beach, or to party. We had just been at an amazing wedding so beach relaxation was exactly what we needed. While we went to Mancora multiple times in our stay, if we were trying to party there every night the ride in to town might have proved a bit long.

I was very happy with my stay and would return the next time I find myself up north in Peru.
